Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong has been offered a spot on season 2 of ’1 Night 2 Days’.

According to several sources inside KBS, the ’1 Night 2 Days’ season 2’s production team has discussed Kim Hyun Joong as a member. The ’1 Night 2 Days’ season 2 production teams has already made an official offer to Kim Hyun Joong’s management company, but they have not received an answer yet.

An industry insider stated, “The rumors of Kim Hyun Joong being heavily courted by the ’1 Night 2 Days’ season 2’s production team has spread all throughout the KBS building. The interest on ’1 Night 2 Days’ is so high, it doesn’t matter how careful they are discussing their plans, they get leaked out fairly quick regardless”.

The insider continued, “Nothing has been decided yet. They’ve asked him if he would consider joining the season 2 cast of ’1 Night 2 Days’ and that’s as far as the discussion proceeded”.

To the rumors the representative from the management company of Kim Hyun Joong carefully stated, “We did receive the offer and there were discussions, but we have not discussed anything in specific”.

The current ’1 Night 2 Days’ which is lead by production director Na Young Suk will close its doors on February. Season 2 is being produced by production director Choi Jae Hyung, whose latest work on KBS was ‘Invincible Baseball Team’.

Kim Hyun Joong, soon debuting in Japan, has recently released a jacket photo of his debut album.
On January 6, Kim released a jacket photo of his first Japanese single album, KISS KISS / Lucky Guy, which will be released in Japan on January 25.

In the pictures, released in three versions – white, green, and red, Kim makes a strong impression in a dreamlike mood.

This album includes its title songs, “Kiss Kiss,” ”Lucky Guy,” and “Breakdown,” a love song, “U,” and “Hohoemino Chikara,” which is well-known as a theme song of the Smile Project, DATV’s charity event that took place in Tokyo Dome in December last year.
A spokesperson for Kim says, “Kim Hyun Joong is now ready to meet his fans with a new concept. Please look forward to it.”

Kim Hyun Joong releases album covers for debut Japanese single, “Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy”

Kim Hyun Joong has released album jacket photos for his first Japanese debut single, “KISS KISS/Lucky Guy“!

Divided into three color concepts — white, green, and red — the photos bring out his powerful charisma. His debut single will include his title track, “Kiss Kiss“, and “Break Down“, “U“, and his DATV charity theme song for “Miso Project“.

He previously topped the imported album chart on the Oricon with his two Korean mini-albums already so his Japanese debut is expected to climb to success in no time.

There’s already a ‘Kim Hyun Joong’ syndrome going on in Japan thanks to his Japanese nationwide tour back in November.

Key East Entertainment stated, “Kim Hyun Joong has been actively conversing with his fans prior to his debut through showcase events and tours, which has helped a lot in forming the fanbase he has now. He’ll be undergoing an image change different to his Korean promotions so fans can look forward to new things.”

The album single will be released on January 25th, which will be followed by his ‘Premium Live 2012‘ on February 5th, an album release event that will see 20,000 fans.
